Hayley’s Senior Shoot

August 23, 2009

* I want to remind everyone that every monitor is calibrated differently. My monitor is set with my printing lab. Thanks.

I always have people comment on how they would like to see more pictures from each shoot. So tonight, I’m indulging those people. The greatest thing about my job and my small community is that when someone decides to do a shoot with me, especially last minute, it almost always works out.

We decided last night that we would shoot tonight.

Hayley is an awesome girl, and has the sweetest personality. What I love most about her, she can pull off a “serious-don’t look at the camera” shot like a professional. It was a great shoot with perfect lighting.

Hope I didn’t bore you all with the truckload of pics. I know Haley’s mom and sister will be excited to see so many pictures up for their sneak peek.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I shall return soon!

September 1, 2009: It seems, that a lot of people want to attend this event, but too many don’t think they can make it due to family reunions or other obligations.

So I would like to announce that I am moving this event to September 26th. This date is our town wide garage sale and fall festival. I will also have my fall backdrop and props in for the little kiddos.

Please call me if you would like to set up a time.

Thanks again!

Caitlin Part I

August 10, 2009

(I would like to remind everyone, each monitor is calibrated different. All of my images are color-corrected and calibrated with my lab. If you have any concerns, please call me.)

So I have this terrible terrible habit, that is somewhat bad for me, and somewhat awesome for my client. I tend to spend too much time when the shoot is rockin’!!! Kind of like tonight. A one hour shoot turned into two hours. Quality, not quantity is my motto.

This was Part I of Caitlin’s senior photo shoot. She wanted some in-studio shots, and since the wind was crazy tonight, we opted for inside for round one.

Our first shots were her with her bible. Priorities first. And I was more than obliged. I absolutely loved it when she asked for this specific shot. She will pick a verse that has meaning for her, but for the time being, I went with Proverbs 16:3. One word that comes to mind when I think of ‘graduation’, success.

2001

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.”

Here are just a few more shots…

This shot has to be one of my favorites aside from the bible shot.

I have been busy, and happily-busy I might mention. Life is so wonderful and I’m finding that there are so many options for photographers out there. So I feel blessed when a family chooses me as their photographer. I love to meet new people, and make new friends. I have more shoots lined up, so please make sure you check back frequently.

I cannot wait for Wednesday… I had so much fun with you Caitlin. Thanks!
