The “S” Family

July 31, 2009

UPDATE: The tripod is found! Thanks to Erin at the City Hall, she helped me get in touch with the right people. Yay!

Here are a few sneak peeks for my most recent clients, the “S” family… If the look familiar, they are two of the children from the Grandkids shoot. Little miss wasn’t as happy to take picture this time, but we still managed a few good shots.

In the last week, we have wrapped up our Vacation Bible school where I was the director all week, and whew!!! That’s a job!

I have had a couple of shoots.

Oh, and I lost a tripod. I’m hoping someone at the Elk City Park has found it, but I imagine it is lost.

I also am about to wrap up on all those baseball pictures from the Shawn Walker Tournament.

I hope everyone is having a great week. I am off to host a church locki-in tonight with about ten 10-11 year olds. Can you say fun?!?!?!

Among the NUMEROUS things on my to-do list, is baseball pictures from a tournament I shot about three weeks ago!!! yes, three weeks ago. And a few parents have called or emailed. Between “retiring” from my real job, a vacation, a recent visit to the ER, Vacation Bible school and not to mention all the countless other things including a 22 month old, I just can’t seem to wade through the near 1700 images fast enough. Then from there, the question is asked, how will I separate them? So I’m working on that as well, or the galleries will take for ever to upload.

I just wanted to let people know, they are coming!!! I promise. I’m sorry for the delay, but what can I say. I’m a busy person. very busy. So busy, my husband grabbed me by the shoulders and said “Slow Down”. He meant literally and metaphorically.

I wanted to share a few favorites so far:

I’m a truckin’ through them as fast as I can with as much time as I can find. Thanks for all your patience!!!

Back from vacation…

July 16, 2009

I am so glad to be back home. Vacations are always nice, but there is nothing that compare to your own bed. Or maybe I’m just getting old. But I will say that I enjoyed the time we spent with our grandparents in Colorado. It was beautiful!

I have so much to catch up on, but I am almost there. I just need to work on posting ALL of the baseball tournament pictures. I apologize to all of those who are waiting on these. I wil admit that I am so glad to be back at home because now I will be able to keep up with processing and uploading.

I thought I would share a few pictures from my vacation.

I can’t tell you beautiful it was there. I am envious of the people who live there permanently.

I’ll be posting soon with another contest for a Rockin’ Senior photo shoot. Make sure you check back!

And in case you are thinking that the little girl from this shoot looks like the other little girl from the “G” family looks a lot alike… they do. But they are two separate, very cute, little girls!

Thanks again so much!!! I enjoyed it!!!

I love this mom…

July 7, 2009

Remember the “G” family I shot a few weeks ago? Their momma called me the other day to let me know that she dug me up two more jobs. At our last shoot, she informed me of an idea she had for some pictures with her kids. Ice Cream cones… but not just plain ice cream cones… ones with sprinkles- red, white, and blue to be specific. Unfortunately, the weather and our fun in the wheat kept us from executing it.

I love when moms come up with ideas! I really do. This turned out awesome I think.

And on top of that, she landed me the other sneak peek you see tonight.

She rocks!

I have a new friend.

Here you go miss “G”:

Did I mention that beautiful children help make pretty pictures prettier?

Thanks for the flip-flops Miss “G”. I love your kids!
