I had a wonderful family session tonight with the sweetest twin girls!!! Not to mention a ’sweet’ location as well. The Secret Garden at Elk City, is THE place for Wedding Venues and family sessions. I’ll have more information on this spot coming soon. For tonight, I want to showcase just a few of my favorites that stuck out as I uploaded:

Thanks so much “S” family!!!!

The “H” Family

July 6, 2010

I’m a little late at getting this sneak peek up, but over the Fourth Of July Weekend, I scheduled a couple of photography sessions. One of them was in Elk City, her family was coming in from out of state and out of town, and she really wanted to capture everyone with grandma and grandpa. I enjoyed he family, they were so welcoming and warm. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very cooperative, but the skies let up just long enough. Here is their sneak peek:

There is a little story behind this session… I was headed on my way to a wedding recently when I got a phone call for a last minute session. Her son was in from out of state with his wife and their baby. They were leaving the next day to go back home, and they had just celebrated their Grandma’s 100th birthday. I knew I had to do this shoot. So despite driving home from my wedding LATE that night, I offered to come over first thing the next morning. In the Grandma’s back yard is an old tree that everyone loved and had played on as kids, so they knew that was where they wanted their pictures done. They wanted casual and fun. Here is their sneak peek:

Thanks so much “P” family!

I couldn’t wait to edit these! I had a wonderful session with the sweetest mommy-to-be. When she originally emailed me, I immediately knew where we needed to take these pics. The trees were perfect for a setting sun and a baby bump! Sorry for lots of pics, but when a session is so beautiful, it’s hard not to share! Here is “N’s” sneak peek:

Here is a little sneak peek of her studio session too!

Love.

I’m playing catch up this week… lots of posts from the past several weeks will be featured below, but I wanted to take this first post opportunity to showcase a new adventure in Shannon Fry Designs…

Love.

I love everything about Love. It’s a wonderful feeling, and here lately I have been blessed to experience a whole lot of it. I humbly admit that I never saw becoming a wedding photographer in my future, but it’s a photography experience unlike anything else I have ever done. Even more than just ‘Love’, I love weddings! They are a happy and joyous event that brings out the best in emotions and reactions in those that are involved. Yes, even the photographer.

I wanted to share some of my recent ‘Love.’ adventures. Enjoy!

…that’s just a taste, make sure you are on the lookout for more soon!
